Cybercast: An ongoing field report from an expedition.

Many of our expeditions are cybercast on the internet. As one of the first organizations to send regular updates from mountains around the world, we hope you will find this an interesting way to learn about our expeditions. Our guide teams make satellite phone and email reports on a regular basis so friends and enthusiasts at home can share in the adventure. Please note that not all of our expeditions are cybercast. The lack of a recent cybercast is not an indication of a problem with the trip.

For most of our dispatch posting we currently use a direct phone to website system, so the dispatches can arrive at any time of day, often after our office hours or on the weekend. This system allows for immediate availability of posting to friends and family. Often, these fresh dispatches arrive initally as unlabeled voice posts, and we add titles, transcriptions and descriptions as soon as possible during regular office hours (M-F 8:30am - 4:00pm PST).
