Alex came to Alpine Ascents in early 2008 and led a successful climb up Denali's West Buttress. A NOLS guide for the last 8 years Alex has demonstrated superb leadership skills in mountaineering and has climbed extensively in the Alaska Range, Chugach and the Wrangells. When not guiding for Alpine Ascents Alex makes his home in Jackson Hole Wyoming, and climbs and skis regularly in the Tetons. In addition to leading mountaineering programs in the Tetons, Alex has led courses in the Snake River Range. In his career at NOLS Alex lead programs in mountaineering, sea kayaking, and hiking.
