5+Years of Service Dave Heinbach
Guide: International, Rainier, Mountaineering School

Dave guides our summit climbs of Aconcagua, Denali, and the Cascades, and teaches our mountaineering courses. He has worked for Alpine Ascents since 2006, previously working as a rock climbing guide and ski patroller. He climbs throughout the United States. His extensive climbing background, years of athletic competition, and academic degrees in physics and education all support his primary purpose in guiding: a dedication to helping climbers realize their goals. Besides climbing, he enjoys backcountry skiing, road and mountain biking, and occasionally sitting still long enough to practice Vipassana. When not working in the mountains he is likely to be found playing in the mountains, eating, or face down and sound asleep on someone's couch. His favorite breakfast is ice cream and coffee.
