Brian Kasavana
Guide: Rainier, Cascades, Denali

Brian is currently in paramedic school in the Matanuska Valley of Alaska where he lives with his fiancée. He has worked as a ski patroller, as an Alpine Ascents guide for three years, and as a mountaineering instructor for the National Outdoor Leadership School for the past seven years. He has led expeditions for work and play to the Chugach Range, Wrangells, Denali (Muldrow Route-ascent, guiding; West Buttress-attempt, guiding), Moose's Tooth (W. Ridge) Eastern Alaska Range (Mount Hayes and Moffit), Cascades, Winds, Andes and in Chilean Patagonia, where he learned to drink maté like a pro. Brian has also led Alaska mountaineering guide training for NOLS and Outward Bound. Brian has done numerous winter trips in the Tetons and Winds and has gone exploring in Alaska on packrafts. He went to college in the Northwest and began climbing and working in the Cascades.
