5+Years of ServiceLee Lazzara
Guide: Rainier, Cascades

Talk about hitting the jackpot: Lee made the move from suburban New Jersey to the good times and even better snow of Park City at age 16 and has called Utah home ever since. Finding a life in the mountains has taken him through a variety of work - from groveling as a ski resort dishwasher, to learning the mysteries of snow shoveling and hot tub maintenance, finally graduating to the world of ski patrolling and mountain guiding. He comes to his first year at Alpine Ascents with three years of ski and mountain guiding experience and first ascents in such far flung locations as Utah, Washington and Argentina. He moonlights as a freelance writer, speaks Spanish at a 1st grade level and plays guitar somewhat well.
