Carrie Holloway

Carrie grew up in the flatlands of the Midwest and developed her love of climbing during college at the University of Oregon. Originally heading west to play lacrosse, Carrie quit the sport after visiting the local climbing gym where she developed an immediate addiction. As an instructor for Remote Medical International, Carrie has a passion for patient care, and can be found teaching numerous first aid, wilderness first responder, EMT, and rope rescue courses. She has a B.A. in Natural Hazard Mitigation and Accident Response from the University of Oregon. A certified Paramedic since 2009, Carrie has worked as a Paramedic for Albuquerque Ambulance Service for the last two and a half years. Carrie is currently interested in finance and entrepreneurship, and is currently working on her own start-up company, Progression Climbing, LLC. This is her 7th year guiding professionally.
