Lenka Stafl
Guide: Mount Rainier

Lenka Stafl has over 5 years of mountain guiding and instructional experience. Lenka works in Washington for Alpine Ascents and can often be found guiding clients on the slopes of Rainier. She has taught and participated in mountaineering and rock climbing technical trainings around the world from Patagonia, to British Columbia.  Traveling to China with a scholarship from the American Alpine Club, Lenka explored high altitude mountaineering during an intercultural women's exchange. She guided fellow teammates up multi-pitch rock climbs in the Tetons and Cottonwood Canyon and completed the first women's climb of a mountain in the Tibetan Plateau. In her spare time, Lenka likes to laugh, learn new skills, and pour over maps (she holds a degree in Geography) and dream up her next adventures. In winter she can be found earning powder turns ski touring, ice climbing, and in the kitchen baking delicious treats to fuel outdoor pursuits. Lenka is a competent guide and alpinist, but most importantly loves to share her passion for the mountains with others.
