5+Years of Service John Van Nostrand
Guide: Washington, Alaska

John fell in love with the magnificent White Mountains of New Hampshire when he was young boy travelling with his family. It wasn't until he was a teen that he was able to experience the draw of Mt Washington's Tuckerman and Huntington Ravines, which became his climbing ground. Eventually, his thrill for the mountains led him all over the world. John has led expeditions on Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Ama Dablam in Nepal and Denali in Alaska. However, some of his most memorable mountaineering experiences have been on the slopes of Mount Rainier. John has had incredible personal experiences in the mountains and is excited to continue to help others find their passion for mountaineering in the Cascades. John currently calls Colorado's western slope home and works as a Registered Nurse in the local hospital.
