Everest 2019 – Return to Basecamp!

Hello Everyone, We have successfully and safely made it down to Basecamp today! It feels great to be at the “low” altitude of 17,500ft. Once we arrived we had a late breakfast and then showers and naps. We are now just finishing up dinner and a cake that our Chef Gopal made for us. Tonight is our last night in our Basecamp as tomorrow morning we will all be flying to Kathmandu in helicopters, hoping to arrive for lunch at the Yak and Yeti. What a great adventure it’s been, and an incredible team to spend 2 months with. I’ll update you as we get to Kathmandu and get some more photos to you from the adventure. Thanks for following along, Ben Jones Expedition Leader More info about Climbing Mount Everest and Everest Base Camp Trek.
