Aconcagua – Las Pumas Wrap up a Successful Expedition!

Las Pumas completed the hike out of the park yesterday in excellent style. In the evening, we shared a delicious dinner together with another descending Alpine Ascents team at the Hotel Ayelen. We are now departing this morning for the ride back to Mendoza, so this will be the last Las Pumas update. Congratulations again to all of the ladies on the team!! A couple of parting shots from our snowy day at Nido de Cóndores….

Aconcagua – Team Tiger Summits Aconcagua!

I was very impressed and satisfied with the expedition. Compared to other guiding companies on Aconcagua, Alpine Ascents seemed to have better food, better/longer acclimatization process, more flexibility in schedule, and the only group to have a permanent base camp at a great location.
