Private Climbs

Private Mount Baker Trips

Mount Baker is an ideal setting for a private mountaineering trip with friends and family. If you are interested in climbing Mount Baker with your personal group, we highly recommend buying out one of our scheduled 3-Day Climbs. These scheduled trips use our established Sandy Camp setup, with tents and cooking equipment already in place. Rental items such as crampons, helmets, ice axes, and foam pads are also available at this established camp. Because a large portion of equipment is already on the mountain, climbers are spared carrying this extra weight. Pack weight for a scheduled Baker climb is 35lbs, while pack weight for a private climb outside of this regular schedule is 45-50lbs.

Please contact our office if you are interested in buying out a 3-Day Mount Baker Climb.

First class operation. It seemed organized and well planned out from the very start. Our guides were superb! They explained techniques and demonstrated how to perform them and then asked that the climbers practiced. I really enjoyed the skill training and learned A LOT!
