Expedition Team 2 finally has clear skies to fly some of the group into Union Glacier and then on to nice weather at Vinson Base Camp, while a few members hope to fly soon

Hi, this is Garrett Madison calling in for the Alpine Ascents Mount Vinson expedition #2 cybercast.

Today’s January 11th and today our team, our second team, flew in from Punta Arenas, arrived in Union Glacier Camp and we also flew to Vinson Base Camp. So the team is currently in Vinson Base Camp and we had a nice dinner and looking forward to some training tomorrow. A few members of the team, including guide Sam Hennesy are still in Union Glacier Camp and hoping to fly over to Vinson Base Camp tomorrow.

But currently great conditions, nice weather here in Vinson Base. Everybody’s doing well and we’re looking forward to another great expedition. So we’ll check in soon.
