6/13 10-Day Course: High Camp on Rainier

The Alpine Ascents International June 13 10-Day Course made the move up to Camp Hazard, our high camp for the Kautz Glacier Route. We’re eating an early dinner of Super Ramen (a specialty food) and the group will get to bed early while 3 of 4 guides go up on the route to scout.

We had a small thunderstorm pass through camp this afternoon with hail and wind, but we were already sitting pretty in our tents, so no big deal.
