Carstensz Pyramid team dry and warm tucked in at Camp Five, after a muddy descent from base camp

Hi everyone, this is Ben calling in with the Carstensz Pyramid expedition. We are doing great again today. We had kind of a wet… (transmission garbled) we’re here dry and warm in our tents. We descended down from base camp today and got just below our Camp Five, just about another hour and a half or so below there. But tomorrow we travel to, around our Camp Three, and then continue on again to the Camp One for our last night, then back to Sugapa after that.

Interesting terrain today, some tricky moves coming down in pretty deep mud and slippery rocks but everybody did a fantastic job of being safe all the way down. Got a little muddy, got a little wet along the way, but it was a good day overall. We’re all pretty tired… (transmission cuts out).
