Alp 9, to be known as The Denali Ballers, smoothly embarked on their journey with a beautiful flight to the Kahiltna Glacier

Hello friends, family, and loved ones. This is Paul Koubek cybercasting for Alp 9/The Denali Ballers. Today went as smoothly as the day could go for the group today, things went really well.

We, after breakfast at Fireweed Station, went over to Alpine’s hanger, did gear shuffle, a fixed line ascension class, and then drove into town where we had pizza at Mountain High Pizza Pie, got a briefing from the National Park Service, and then headed on over to Talkeetna Air Taxi.

We had a beautiful flight into the mountains. And dinner was hamburgers; everybody’s well fed and headed to bed for a good night’s rest. We’re happy to be in the mountains.

Thanks for following our cybercasts. Stay tuned for more from Alp 9/The Denali Ballers.
