Team 3, to be known as The Seven Guanacos rolls into Plaza Argentina Base Camp after riding and running with mules

Hi, this is Matthew calling in for Alpine Ascents Aconcagua Team 3, The Seven Guanacos. Today is Thursday, December 19th and the Team has arrived at Base Camp.

We had a nice day today, early start, got up before the light of day, had a nice icy river crossing and got out. A couple of us rode a mule. But got out and got into the sun and it ended up being pretty warm, a light breeze, a couple clouds, but for the most part a pretty good day. We ran with the mules and ended up rolling into camp just in time for a real nice meal with our Base Camp Service Providers. Everybody’s got their tents up, dug in, and is looking forward to our first official rest day tomorrow.

Thanks a lot for listening, we’ll keep you posted.
