The sun shines at 11,200 feet and Team Out and About celebrates Eric Murphy’s birthday with a joke session

Hey, this is Team Out and About, it’s May 18th at 9:15. We finally saw the sun today, everybody is psyched! And it turns out there are a ton of people camping out at 11,200, so everybody was happy to be out and digging out their camps.

We had another little bit of a rest day, while we let the new snow settle on Motorcycle Hill. We had a great day drawing things out; making sure everybody was prepped to leave for tomorrow. We’re going to try to do a single carry to Camp 4 (at 14,000 feet).

And we had a great joke telling session tonight, so everybody was full of laughs and smiles getting ready for a big day tomorrow. We’ll give you guys an update tomorrow hopefully from Camp 4.

Have a great night!

Also Eric Murphy’s birthday, everybody wish him a very happy birthday. Happy Birthday Eric Murphy!
