In nice enough weather to work without gloves, Alp 2 successfully moves to High Camp with plans to rest tomorrow

Hello friends, family, and loved ones, Paul Koubek cybercasting for Alp 2 Denali expedition.

Today Alp 2 moved up the fixed lines and all the way to High Camp at 17,200 feet. It was a successful move under beautiful conditions. We made the move in 8 hours, which is a good time. And the entire group is here, safe and sound, and in bed at this moment.

Tomorrow will be a rest day and the forecast looks good. To give you a perspective on what it’s like at 17,2 at the moment, I was able to work without gloves, which for those of you who have been up here before, you know that means it’s real nice up here.

Thanks for following our cybercast, Paul Koubek signing off for Alp 2.
