Team Fat Chance ended the beautiful sunny day with a birthday celebration barbecue after trekking in to their first Camp

Hey everybody, this is Tom from Team Fat Chance and thanks for following along with our cybercasts.

Really great day today. We entered the park this morning and arrived at our first Camp on the trek in, in fine form with plenty of energy and in high spirits. The weather today was great, bright and sunny with the perfect amount of wind from the south to keep temperature down. We had a great barbecue tonight cooked by Argentine cowboys and celebrated Solfrid’s birthday which was awesome.

We send our love to everybody back home following along and we’ll check in tomorrow from Casa de Piedra.
