Alp 9/The Denali Ballers headed onto the glacier with some lovely overcast weather before ending the day with stir fry and noodles

(“Yeah, exactly” said in background with some laughter.)
Friends, family, loved ones, Paul Koubek cybercasting for Alp 9/The Denali Ballers.

Today went well. We had a breakfast of scrambled eggs and bacon, talked a bit about glacier travel, rigged our sleds for travel and headed out onto the lower Kahiltna. After three hours of travel, we reached Alpine Ascents Camp .5 (one of our specialties and the way we run our show on Denali) and set up camp smoothly and efficiently, had dinner of stir fried vegetables on egg noodles, and folks are headed to bed here at 8pm on the glacier.

Lovely overcast weather; kept the tanks down so we could move during the day. Thanks for following our cybercast. We’ll be headed to Camp 1 tomorrow.
