Winds up high prevented Alp 7/Travis & the Mules from moving up and instead they ate bacon quesadillas and enjoyed another sunny day sightseeing at 14,000 feet

Good evening everybody, this is Sam with Alp 7/Travis and the Mules. We had a beautiful day here at 14,000 feet; however strong winds up high prevented us from moving up to our High Camp.

So we stayed put down here, ate some bacon and cheese quesadillas, hung out, did some sightseeing, and just enjoyed ourselves here on another sunny day on Denali.

We miss everybody back home and everybody says “hi” to their friends and family.

And tomorrow we’re just playing the waiting game. So we’re going to wake up early and just see what the weather’s doing, with hopes that we can move ourselves and our food and fuel up to High Camp (at 17,200 feet). So stay tuned. Good night.
