Team 11 had a busy day in town then flew out to the glacier, established camp, had cheeseburgers then tucked into bed, psyched to start their Denali adventure

Hey everyone, this is Sarah calling from Base Camp and I’m with Alp 11 and I’m happy to say that we have started our expedition, we are on the glacier.

We had a pretty busy in town day today, where we had breakfast at 7, did a gear check, made sure everyone had all the gear that they needed, had all their food, loaded up the vans, had a nice lunch, and a park briefing, and then flew onto the glacier around 3:30.

It’s about 9:00 now and we are all tucked into bed. Everyone has their tents all set up and we had a great dinner of cheeseburgers. And right now we are getting ready to go to bed, and wake up and do some skills in the morning.

So all is well, we are psyched that we started our expedition and we will call again tomorrow.
