Alp 11/The Meat Grinders caches at 13,5 in good time with gorgeous views down to the tundra

Hey everyone, this is Sarah calling from Alp 11/Team Meat Grinders, and we’re calling from 11,200 feet. We had a great day today.

We got up nice and early and left camp around 6:30, and brought groceries up to 13,500 feet. And we did it in great time, it took us less than 6 hours round trip, which is really efficient and folks moved really well. We had gorgeous views; we could see all the way down to the tundra and we all really enjoyed ourselves. Everyone did really well moving on crampons, even on a little steeper terrain, so it was great.

And tonight we had a great dinner of pizza and brownies and life is good. We’re getting up really early tomorrow, so everyone is…. (transmission choppy). We’ll talk to you later.
