Team 12 travels at night then rests and enjoys beautiful weather, having breakfast at midnight and dinner at noon

Hello, this is Alpine Ascents Team 12, calling from Camp 1 on Denali. This message is for our friends in Dubai, Great Britain, Denmark, and of course the United States of America. We’re having a great time here…(transmission garbled) unfortunately two guys decided to depart but the rest of us are getting really special treatment.

It’s wonderful weather at the moment, only about 80 degrees or so on the glacier, and at night going down to about minus 20. Because of the very hot weather, we’re travelling at night. So we had breakfast at midnight and we just had dinner; it is 20 to 1 in the afternoon.

Anyway, this is…(transmission garbled) signing out. To all our loved ones, we wish you all our best. Bye for now.
