CASCADES CONDITIONS REPORT 7/30/2024

Mt Rainier, Muir route update –
At the end of last week, the Muir route was adjusted due to conditions on the mountain around 12,800ft. The route “fell out” for a few days and we are proud to say that the route is back in. Our team yesterday (July 29th) had 100% summit success on the Muir route. The route is changing daily and we have guide teams on the mountain dedicated to working on keeping the climbing route in good condition. If you are unfamiliar with the factors that inform our ability to summit, see our Will I summit Rainier tab.
