Ama Dablam 2018 – Greetings from Basecamp

Hello and greetings from 4600m at Ama Dablam Basecamp. All climbers are now at basecamp and feeling good. We are all very excited to be here after many months of planning and preparation for this expedition.

Our basecamp logistics and set up is phenomenal. All details are taken care of and we have an amazing crew of staff with us. We got treated to a wonderful welcome meal with hot tea as we arrived into camp. We can’t wait to see what they have prepared for dinner tonight.

Tomorrow our plan is to go for an acclimatization hike up towards camp 1 (5600m). Our goal is to climb a bit above 5000m and continue to acclimate to the higher altitude on Ama Dablam.

Thanks for following and will have more updates along the way.
