Full day today: lots of skills were covered, first with footwork on snow and then self arrest techniques.

Then we worked on roped glacier travel techniques and running protection. We wrapped our day up with a talk on glaciology and altitude. Everyone was ready for dinner at that point, fortunately we enjoyed another fine sunset while we ate.
