June 24 Eight-day Course: Day 3

After a long day of gear check, travel and hiking to Glacier Basin Friday, the team successfully carried heavy loads over St. Elmo’s Pass Saturday afternoon and established camp on the Winthrop glacier. The weather is splitter and everyone is in good spirits.

Sunday was a full day of snow skills, self arrest practice, knots and rope travel.
