Namaste friends, family and loved ones,
Up early and on the trail to Chekung the five of us enjoyed the warmth of the sun. With some of the worlds most iconic mountains towering above us our trek was sheer delight. We spent our afternoon in a Rope Rodeo practicing our climbing skills for the challenge ahead.
Chekung at 4800 meters is our last village before Island Peak base camp, our goal for tomorrow. The team is acclimatized and ready to climb!
