Everest Base Camp Trek Climbs Kalapatar

Namaste friends, family and loved ones.

The Kowboys got up early at 5 am to assure we would get some photos from the famous view peak Kalapatar. We trekked up the upper Khumbu valley in brilliant sunshine.

After an early lunch in the village of Gorak Shep we climbed the slopes of the 5850 meter black Rock mountain. The weather took a turn for the worse but we were still able get a group photo before clouds enshrouded Everest.

Tomorrow we trek into Everest base camp. Come with us as we camp on the ice.

All our best,

Carole and Vern Tejas
