Namaste Friends, Family & Loved Ones,
We are tremendously excited to kick off our inaugural Mera Peak Expedition. Although it is geographically close to our second home in the Khumbu Valley, all reports are that the Hinku Valley where Mera Peak is located is truly a different and remote world– Adventure and exploration await!
By the end of this evening, all but three team members have arrived in Kathmandu and are ensconced at the Yak & Yeti Hotel. Tomorrow morning, we will meet for the first time as a group. We will do our best–technology permitting– to post a daily Cybercast letting you at home know where we are and what we’ve seen and done that day. So please follow along with us!
