Greetings from Chamonix, France!

Last night Mont Blanc Team #1 meet up for dinner in downtown Chamonix. Everybody has arrived safely with all there luggage and climbing gear. This team has climbers from all over the world and will be lots of fun getting to know each other over the next couple days.

Today, we will be heading up on the Mer de Glace to review and learn some technical climbing skills with our equipment. We will be spending tonight at the refuge du Plan de l’Aiguille at just over 2300m as we start our acclimating process for the Mont Blanc. The Plan de l’Aiguille is famous for there tart d’jour (desert of the day).

As we start climbing over the next couple days we will have more updates. Thanks for following our cycbercast and we will be in touch

Cheers,
