Mont Blanc #3: back in Chamonix

Greetings from Chamonix!

We descend today from the Trient hut in some nasty weather. Luckily we had our Gore-Tex jackets and pants to help keep us dry. Despite the rainy day we had a lovely hike walking through paths of wild flowers to reach our ski lift to take us down to town.

All of our climbers are doing well and excited about our next 3 days. The current conditions on the Mont Blanc are unsafe to climb due to rockfall so, we are heading to Italy to climb the Gran Paradiso. This is the highest peak in Italy and a beautiful climb. It is located about 1.5hrs south west from Chamonix inside a national park. We will have limited email and cell service but will try to update the cybercast when we have service.

Here are a couple pictures from last night and today.

Our team wishes there friends and family a great weekend.
