2019 Sacred Valley Trek – Ollantaytambo to Machu Picchu and back to Cusco

Hello Everyone,

We’ve had a few excellent days here in Peru to end the trip. After arriving to Urubamba at our lodge near Ollantaytambo we had an excellent morning viewing the Temple and Inkan sites of Ollantaytambo. The following morning we took the train to Aguas Calientes, the town just below Machu Picchu and checked into our amazing hotel in the jungle. The following morning we were finally heading up to the incredible city of Machu Picchu. After our morning tour most of the team climbed up Huayna Picchu to get a great view of Machu Picchu about 1,200ft below. After thoroughly exploring and enjoying Machu Picchu we took the Bus back to Aguas Calientes for the afternoon and our last dinner together in Peru. This was a great group of people with many fun memories throughout the last 10 days. Thanks for following along and we hope you will join us next year on this incredible journey in Peru!
