Hello family and friends! Team Guanaco enjoyed a perfect day of hiking. The weather was fantastic. We hiked to Laguna Torre with great views of Cerro Torre and Fitz Roy among other mountains. Our local guide Mariana joined the team for this hike and she shared his profound knowledge of this part of Patagonia with us. During the hike, we could see some of the fauna of this part of the world: a male Magellanic woodpecker with its crimson head and crest, condors and a couple of Huemuls, the south Andean deer. Once we get to Laguna Torre, we saw icebergs floating on the lake. In the evening, we celebrated LJ birthday by having a nice dinner in the finest restaurant in town. Happy Birthday LJ!!! Thanks for following! More soon. Team Guanaco signing off for now.
