Everest 2019 – Puja Day

Hello Everyone, The last few days have been pretty busy here getting moved into camp, we had our Puja ceremony, and today we started a little review of our climbing systems. The team is doing well with acclimatization and getting into a routine here in Basecamp. We had our special Puja ceremony to ask for safe passage on the mountain a couple days ago with perfect weather. It’s always a special day to share with our entire staff that are all helping to make this expedition happen. Tomorrow we are going to start our ladder crossing practice in camp after breakfast and then we will head out into the lower Icefall to do some more review of skills before we head up on our first trip on the mountain. *(Beathe would like to wish Anita a very Happy Birthday!) I’ll update here again tomorrow! Ben Jones Expedition Leader More info about Climbing Mount Everest and Everest Base Camp Trek.
