Savage Uno rests in Nido

Hi this is Rachel checking in on behalf of team Savage Uno! Today we took a rest day in Nido- it was a pretty active rest day, playing ferocious games of Uno that are getting more strenuous as the elevation continues to go up! We also practiced making sure we have our faces fully covered, every small piece of skin for our summit attempt, practices with our crampons and ice axes, our glove layers and other skills to get us ready for our summit attempt day! Some good news- we have been watching the weather for the past few days pretty closely, and decided our best window for a summit attempt day is the day after tomorrow. Tomorrow we are moving up to Colera camp and then the following day planning to go for our summit attempt! Big moves coming up, the team is really strong, being really vigilant in their self care to make the best of their summit attempt, they’re doing a fantastic job us here. We’re excited to move up tomorrow and will talk again from Colera!
