TAPS 2018 Machu Picchu Trek Begins

Hola Amigos, Family & Loved Ones,

So excited that our TAPS Machu Picchu Expedition has begun!

The Team gathered today in Cusco, Peru. Cusco is a beautiful town, with narrow, hilly, cobblestone streets and many lovely restored colonial houses. At over 11,000 feet in altitude, it has taken our breath away, both literally and figuratively!

We had time to wander around the historic center of town today and then met this afternoon for our orientation and gear check. With that all sorted, we were able to relax and enjoy some delicious Peruvian cooking for dinner.

We’re off to a great start. Check back tomorrow to follow the further adventures of our Team!
