2019 TAPS Team Explores Machu Picchu!

Hola amigos, familia and loved ones!

Today was our day to visit the famous lost city of Machu Picchu. So we got up early to be on site to catch the sunrise.

Photo 1: Explorers of the lost city!

Photo 2: Beautiful condor’s eye view of Machu Picchu

Photo 3: On site with the TAPS trekking team.

Photo 4: Our week of trekking paid off with an educational tour of the mountain top village. Domingo teaches us how to shape stones for building the Temple of the Sun! We learned of the fascinating Inkan history and took lots of photos.

The whole team is well and will soon be heading home.  Thank you so much for following our progress. See you soon.

All our best, Carolina and Vern Tejas
