Team 1 in Mendoza and doing well after some gear checks and a fantastic dinner

Hello Everyone,

Everyone on Team 1 has arrived with all their luggage and is doing well. After checking into the Hyatt Hotel here in Mendoza we did a gear check and an orientation of our trip before going out to a fantastic dinner at a local restaurant around the corner.

Everyone is doing great! Excited. Tired. And ready to head to the mountains tomorrow.

Tomorrow we will drive three hours or so to the west towards the Andes mountains to a little ski town at 8,500 feet called Penitentes. At Penitentes we will do some final gear checks and final preparations before starting our three day, 30 mile trek to Base Camp the following morning.

We will continue to update along the way! Follow along! Ciao from Mendoza!
