Team 5 in Arusha, starting their trip to the roof of Africa!

Hello everyone,

This is Ben reporting in for Kilimanjaro Team 5 in Tanzania. Everyone has arrived (minus a couple pieces of luggage) and had a great first day.

Today we had breakfast in the Hotel followed by an Orientation and gear check for the climb. After lunch we went on a town tour around Arusha and had dinner in the evening.
The weather is nice and cool and we are looking forward to heading to the mountain soon! Our first day of hiking begins in a few hours! Follow along as we head through the jungle today and camp at around 10,000 feet tonight.

Talk to you soon,
Ben
