Everest Basecamp Trek 2019 – Team Buff chugs into Tengboche

Namaste friends, family and loved ones!

Early departure from Khumjung assured us an early arrival at the famous Tengboche Monastery with its ornate architecture. Check out the colorful main gate details! We performed a circumambulation (known as a Kora) of the Gompa before entering.

For all our efforts of the day we visited another famous landmark, the Tengboche Bakery where received our Just Deserts.

Team members are in good health and spirits! Tomorrow we have a big push up to Pheriche.

All our best,Carole and Vern Tejas
