Team prepares to depart

Hello friends, family and loved ones,

We spent the day getting ready to go. Last minute gear check made sure we have everything. Everything out.

Lucky Andrew flew through an air strike to get here

We preloaded the jet with our duffle bags to enable a quick launch as soon as the conditions allow. We took in some of the Punta Arenas highlights.

And then we were able to take our flight briefing in this evening. The buzz is with weather moving in tomorrow afternoon, we will try to slip into Antarctica early in the morning.

Totally briefed and ready to fly

We will be up at 4:30 am and heading for the airport. Please come along with us on our adventure.

All my best,
Vern Tejas
