Team Tours City and Checks Gear

Friends, Family & Loved Ones,

We made the most of our first full day in Kathmandu as a team. First stop on our city tour was the Monkey Temple.

We climbed the 365 steps to the top.

We then visited Pashupati, a crematorium and important Hindu site, and Boudanath, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world.

Michael Jr. and Molly, do you recognize the three new team members in the photo above?

After lunch, we did a gear check and posed for our formal (sort of!) team portrait.

Now it’s dinner and early to bed because we’re leaving for the airport at 6 am tomorrow morning. As fascinating as Kathmandu is, we’re eager to leave civilization behind and start trekking tomorrow.
