Carstensz Pyramid Team Remains Very Patient!

Hello Everyone,

Well, we are still in Timika with another day down of what has now become routine! The spirits are high though and today ended up being another fun day even though we didn’t fly to Basecamp. We headed out for lunch today at another great restaurant on Chinese New Year day. After lunch a couple of us played golf while others walked, ran, read, and relaxed for the afternoon before finishing up the day with a Buffett dinner at the Golf Club. A little funny to write those sentences as playing golf and hanging out in Timika for close to a week was not really in any of ours thoughts when we arrived last Sunday. We have two more chances to fly to Basecamp before the end of the trip. So, we will continue our routine and hope for clear weather again tomorrow morning.

Everyone here says hello to all the friends and family following along on this expedition!

Goodnight from Timika!

Thanks,

Ben

Yet the Teepee, Schoolroom, and Skillet Glaciers of the Tetons are dwarfs compared to the glaciers […]
