The team has arrived!

Hola friends, family and loved ones,

Our first team of mountaineers has assembled in the Southern tip of Chile to board a flight to Antarctica. Our goal is to climb the highest mountain, the extremely remote Mount Vinson. It is the least climbed of the fabled Seven Summits.

After meeting one another and checking all of our gear, we settled in for a hearty meal.

And then we finished it off with the best tiramisu ever. Yummy!

We will be up early tomorrow for weighing the gear and loading the plane. Once we receive our briefing from the flight service we are on standby for departure to the land of ice and snow. Please join us on our adventure.

All my best,Vern Tejas
