The young, the old and the bold wraps up

Hi Everyone,

We all made it back to Arusha in good shape on the 16th. We got cleaned up,
had a safari briefing and went out to a celebration dinner together.
Yesterday am Shelly and Richard headed out to safari in the great Northern
circuit of Tarangire, NgoroNgoro and Serengeti National Parks. A 4 day
adventure to see some of Tanzania’s best wildlife, including the great
migration in the Southern portion of Serengeti National Park.

My thanks to Shelly and Richard for a great week together and of course to
our amazing crew of local, hardworking folks!

A little down time here in Arusha to get caught up between trips, and get some
trail running in. Rodrick, Daniel and I enjoyed a 35 Kilometer trail run this morning!

A few pics from the trip, including the summit shot with Shelly, Rodrick, Daniel, and Richard,
shot at around 6:20 am on the 15th.

All My Best

Small and easily overlooked, headlamps are extremely useful in the backcountry for pre-dawn alpine starts, late-night cooking sessions, and pretty much any other time a little extra light […]
