Everest Basecamp Trek – Whirlybirds to Lukla and then Kathmandu

Namaste everyone,

Yesterday afternoon we all arrived to Lukla after a 4 hour walk in balmy Spring conditions. Relaxing, drinks and leisure time were enjoyed by all!
Today the team has all just landed back in Kathmandu and is in route to the Yak and Yeti Hotel for showers and more celebrations!
My thanks to an amazing group of friends for a wonderful 2 weeks together in one of my favorite and special places – the Khumbu Valley of Nepal. Also a special thanks to our equally amazing Nepali staff of Gopal, Mann, Nurendra, Rohan, Amreet and Pasang Sherpa.

Now it’s heli time for me. Back to Everest to guide our climbing team to the roof of the world, thru the end of May!

My best to you all and thank you for following along!
