    Originally from Washington, Alexa grew up playing in the Cascades. She attended the University of Washington, where she majored in Law, Societies and Justice and Swedish language. Taking a 180 after college and a brief stint working at a law firm, she began her guiding career on Mount Shasta in California. Her outdoor adventures have brought her many places including British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, Utah, Wyoming, California and the Alps. Alexa likes spending longs days on skis, particularly deep in the mountains on ski traverses. She enjoys guiding because it allows her to share her love and knowledge of the outdoors with others.
