Camilo Andrade

Guide: Ecuador

Born in the heart of the Andes, Camilo started his mountaineer career as a young 13-year-old. By 17 he knew he would become a mountain guide, and he’s been climbing mountains and exploring new routes since then. After climbing Ecuador’s highest peaks, he moved to the amazing Cordillera Blanca area in Peru, where he’s climbed peaks with some of the most impressive views in the world. He’s climbed all throughout South America, including Huaraz, Arequipa, Cuzco, Vilcanota, Huyahuash, Atacama, Copiapó Tandil, La Paz, Potosí, Uyuni and more. To Camilo, life is a continuous trip of exploring and sharing these amazing places with people who care about nature, human groups, and increasing life experiences. Camilo is a certified ASEGUIM mountain guide and now candidate to obtain his UIAGM/IFMGA certification, as well as an Ecotourism graduate from the Catholic University in Quito.
